In LEGO: Marvel’s Avengers, similar to vehicles, there are multiple ways of acquiring all superheroes in the game.
Just as some vehicles are unlocked by default, there are some characters as well. Each and every character used in the game’s Story Mode is available for absolutely free – others; not so much.

How to Unlock Characters
Like I mentioned earlier, there are multiple ways to unlock and acquire a character in the game.
There are some characters which are unlocked after you find their Character Tokens scattered around in the game’s Story Mode, inside HUBs, and scattered around Manhattan.
Then there are some Character Tokens which are dropped by enemies when you defeat them in Manhattan or inside HUBs. This is not all! There are some characters such as DareDevil who ask you to complete a specific mission before they become available.
Once you have successfully unlocked a character in the game, you will need to buy that specific character by spending studs – just as you do in the case of vehicles. Provided that you have enough studs, you will be able to acquire your desired character without any difficulty.
Another thing that you need to know is that Loki becomes available for purchase after the completion of Earth’s Mightiest and Ultimate Ultron becomes available after the completion of Ultron Undone.

Lego Marvel’s Avengers Red Bricks Locations Guide
Note: This guide is a work-in-progress until it’s 100% finished with all new red brick location info.
How to find Red Bricks: The Red Power Bricks are now simply known as “Red Bricks”. You find one in each of the game’s 15 Story Mode / Free Play* levels by first talking to The Collector to get the item mission and then return the item to The Collector — once you picked it up the item’s icon will appear on-screen in the top-left corner — to receive that level’s Red Brick in exchange.
But that only unlocks the Red Brick for buying, you then need to still buy it off of The Collector in his room aboard the SHIELD Helicarrier (along with the 3 other Red Bricks that are automatically unlocked from the start).

*Free Play Mode allows you to replay any story level with all the characters you need to unlock Red Bricks and other collectibles. In Lego Marvel Avengers you’ll mostly need to take Scarlet Witch (with Mind Control special ability) and Ultimate Ultron (with Black Lego Objects manipulation ability) with you into the Free Play levels.
To access all levels you need to first have finished them in Story Mode, you can then replay them in Free Play Mode, by selecting them via the game’s pause menu.
Buying Red Bricks is done in The Collector’s room aboard the SHIELD Helicarrier that flies above Manhattan
Where to buy the unlocked Red Bricks?: Many people have asked “Where is The Collector’s room?”, since it’s the location where you go to to buy the Red Bricks, so here it is… When you’re in the Manhattan open world fly to the SHIELD Helicarrier in the air, from the Helicarrier deck, take the elevator inside to the Control Room and keep walking to the back until you reach a grey hallway, go to the back again and take the first right-side door into a room with a bright white light. Walk into the orb’s white light to be transported into The Collector’s Room who you can buy Red Bricks from at the computer panel.. — Buying Red Bricks will unlock new cheats you can then activate via the game’s pause menu.

How to activate Red Brick cheats?: In case you don’t feel like finding every Red Brick in the game, you can use simple cheat codes too. To turn on cheat codes, you first have to be in-game. Next, during gameplay press pause. Like in every Lego game you can enter codes from the Main Menu by selecting “Extras” and then “Enter Code”. After which you can activate the cheat (where available). — Remember that the next time you play the game, you’ll have to activate the cheats again.

Tip: After you’ve bought the first score multiplier Red Brick, they will become increasingly expensive. So after you buy the first “Studs x2” Red Brick, you can increase your studs total in “Level 15: Ultron Undone – Part A” when as Iron Man you have to shoot enemies in a sidescrolling section. During this section the game will multiply the studs you collect until the on-screen indicator show it is multiplied 10 times ON TOP of however many Red Brick Stud Multipliers you have turned on!
Protip: Turn on all five stud score multiplier Red Bricks to multiply every single stud you collect times 3840!!
Bonus: Get the 15 unlockable Red Bricks (you don’t necessarily have to buy them) to unlock The Collector as a playable character.
Red Brick 1: Attract Studs
Attract Studs Red Brick Location #1: Automatically available to buy from the start of the game. Find it in the Red Brick Station at The Collector’s Room on the SHIELD Helicarrier
Description: This first Red Brick is called “Attract Studs” because it pulls all studs around you directly to you.
Location: This Red Brick is already unlocked for you from the very start of the game, without having to find it. All you have to do is go to The Collector’s room on the SHIELD Helicarrier (directions are in the intro above) with enough money and buy it. There are actually three Red Bricks already unlocked from the beginning, which is why when you pause the game, it only show 15 Red Bricks to find out of the 18 in total.
Price: The cost to buy this Red Brick is 100,000 studs.

Where exactly to find the Attract Studs Red Brick: Since it’s already unlocked, you only have to buy the Red Brick in The Collector’s room (instructions in the “Location” section above) to be able to activate it.
Red Brick 2: Studs x2
Studs x2 Red Brick Location #2: In “Level 1: Struck Off The List – Part B” Vision goes through the pink Mini Access panel, enters the garage with green lights code 287 & destroys everything inside to find the Monocle. Take it to The Collector at the top-right of the castle to receive the Red Brick reward in exchange. – As with all Red Bricks, you have to first talk to The Collector to get the item mission & then return the item to The Collector to receive the Red Brick
Description: This second Red Brick is called “Studs Score Multiplier x2”. This and the other four Stud multipliers are very handy to turn on at the same time at the start of your game, because you’ll make your Stud counter number go up and up and up, so you’ll always have enough Studs to buy characters & vehicles, as well as easily get True Believer status at the end of each level. – As with all Red Bricks, you have to first talk to The Collector to get the item mission and then return the item to The Collector to receive the Red Brick
Location: You will find this red brick in “Level 1: Struck Off The List – Part B”.
In Free Play Mode, go through the pink Mini Access panel with Vision, and in the next area right of the garage door use the panel to enter the green triple-numbers code from the big screen above (might be different each time, but try out: 287) to open the garage door. Destroy everything inside and pick up the Monocle found in the back. The Collector is at the top right of the castle (you can fly up there easily from the level’s Part B spawn point), go talk to him to give him the item he wants and receive the first Red Brick.

Red Brick 3: Studs x4
Studs x4 Red Brick Location #3: In “Level 2: A Loki Entrance – Part A” on ground floor go up the left-side ladder. Then walk to the right end of the walkway & use Scarlet Witch’s mind control on the interaction question mark for the Mini-Rocket box to be lowered by the scientists controlling the panel. Take it to The Collector on the bottom area
Description: This third Red Brick is called “Studs Score Multiplier x4”.
Location: You will find this red brick in “Level 2: A Loki Entrance – Part A”.
The Collector is in the bottom area and this time he wants a mini-rocket. Go up the long ladder to the left side of the ground floor with all the computers (where the by Loki controlled scientists come after you). In Free Play Mode, at the right end of the long metal walkway, there is a Mind Control question mark for Scarlet Witch to interact with, which allows you to force the scientists to flip the switch and lower the container the mini-rocket is stored in down onto the walkway you’re standing on. Then take the Miniature Rocket back to The Collector at the bottom-most ground floor.

Red Brick 4: Studs x6
Studs x6 Red Brick Location #4: In “Level 3: Rail Hydra – Part B” in the big fight arena, there’s a panel (behind destructible items) left of the big HYDRA door in the back to open it. In there use Scarlet Witch’s Mind’s Control on the question mark to control the soldier to flip the switch that makes a box appear next to The Collector. Open up the box with Ultimate Ultron to reveal the Schmidt Red Skull Mask item
Description: This fourth Red Brick is called “Studs Score Multiplier x6”.
Location: You will find this red brick in “Level 3: Rail Hydra – Part B”.
In Free Play Mode. In the big fight arena, in the back there is a panel behind some destructible Lego items, which in turn are left of the big HYDRA door. Use the panel to open up said big HYDRA door. Inside there use Scarlet Witch’s Mind Control powers on the visible yellow question mark, this then allows you to get a soldier to flip a switch. As a result of that a box will appear next to The Collector, who is standing in the background of the battle arena. Ultimate Ultron can open it up by standing in front of it and pressing the indicated button to activate his special ability. This will get you the Schmidt Red Skull Mask item.

Red Brick 5: Studs x8
Studs x8 Red Brick Location #5: In “Level 4: Shakespeare in the Park – Part B” go to the hot dog stand on the square’s right side. Use Scarlet Witch’s Mind Control on the stand’s owner to get a Hot Dog. From there bring it to The Collector in the back, left side
Description: This fifth Red Brick is called “Studs Score Multiplier x8”.
Location: You will find this red brick in “Level 4: Shakespeare in the Park – Part B”.
In Free Play Mode. The Collector is in the back, so keep going forward from the start of Part B, until you see him on the left side. He wants a sausage. There is a hot dog stand, with a green umbrella over it, at the right side of the square. Use Scarlet Witch’s Mind Control on the stand’s owner to get a Hot Dog for one very hungry Collector.

Red Brick 6: Studs x10
Studs x10 Red Brick Location #6: Where you start “Level 5: Helicarrier Havoc – Part C” use Ultimate Ultron to destroy the Black Lego Wall & put together the resulting pieces to get the Captain America Collectable Card. Bring it to The Collector who’s standing right next to it
Description: This sixth Red Brick is called “Studs Score Multiplier x10”.
Protip: Turn on all five stud score multiplier red bricks to multiply every single stud you collect times 3840!!
In Free Play Mode.
Location: You will find this red brick in “Level 5: Helicarrier Havoc – Part C”.
In Free Play Mode, The Collector can be found right at the start of this level’s Part C. Destroy the Black Lego Wall (directly to the right of The Collector) with Ultimate Ultron and put together the resulting fallen pieces to build a drone that will fetch the collectible item for you. Deliver the Captain America Collectable Card you get to The Collector right next to it.

Red Brick 7: Disguises
Disguises Red Brick Location #7: Automatically available to buy from the start of the game. Find it in the Red Brick Station at The Collector’s Room on the SHIELD Helicarrier
Description: This seventh Red Brick is called “Disguises” because it’ll put funny masks on your character.
Location: This red brick is already unlocked for you from the very start of the game, without having to find it. All you have to do is go to The Collector’s room on the SHIELD Helicarrier (directions are in the intro above) with enough money and buy it. There are actually three red bricks already unlocked from the beginning, which is why when you pause the game, it only show 15 red bricks to find out of the 18 in total.

Red Brick 8: Fast Fix
Fast Fix Red Brick Location #8: In “Level 7: Earth’s Mightiest – Part C” The Collector is mid-way through Part C of this level, on the Avengers Tower penthouse’s balcony. The needed JARVIS Memory Drive is right inside the tower behind a Black Lego Objects Wall that Ultimate Ultron can destroy
Description: This eight Red Brick is called “Fast Fix” because it allows you to fix objects out of Lego bricks super fast.
Location: You will find this red brick in “Level 7: Earth’s Mightiest – Part C”.
In Free Play Mode, The Collector is on the balcony outside, next to the door into the Avengers Tower penthouse, which is mid-way through Part C of this level. The item he wants is inside the tower (you can already see it through the glass windows) behind a Black Lego Objects Wall. Destroy this wall with Ultimate Ultron and take the JARVIS Memory Drive back to The Collector.

Red Brick 9: Character Token Detector
Character Token Detector Red Brick Location #9: In “Level 8: Lack of Insight – Part A” The Collector is at the top right after the containers, fly there. After finding out what item he wants, fly up to the right again to find the HYDRA computer below a Helicopter platform. Access it with HYDRA access (use Doctor List or Ultimate Ultron) & a laser gun will shoot the glasses down to your right
Description: This ninth Red Brick is called “Character Token Detector” because it’ll point you to all Character Tokens in your general area.
Location: You will find this red brick in “Level 8: Lack of Insight – Part A”.
In Free Play Mode, The Collector is on the top right after the containers, you can fly up there easily. He wants Arnim Zola’s Glasses. You can get those by logging in as a HYDRA Agent (such as Doctor List or even Ultimate Ultron) at the very top-right of the level, at the end of this level’s Part A. To be specific, from where The Collector is standing you fly up to the right again to find the HYDRA computer below a Helicopter platform. When interacting with the HYDRA computer panel with HYDRA access, a laser gun will burn a panel off the radar dome to the right, after which the glasses will drop to the floor for you to pick up and bring back to The Collector.

Red Brick 10: Gold Brick Detector
Gold Brick Detector Red Brick Location #10: In “Level 9: Ready, A.I.M., Fire – Part C” The Collector is at the end of the level, below the big golden ROXXON sign. Directly above him is an area guarded by camera. Sneak past the camera with Iron Man (Mark 16)’s Stealth so you can fly up there directly. Go past the camera, blow up the Silver Box with Iron Man’s rockets & from the Lego debris build a lever to pull. The door to the right of the cage opens to go through. There destroy the Gold Lego Bricks with Iron Man’s lasers & put out the fire with Captain America or Laufey. Now pick up an Iron Man Helmet for The Collector
Description: This tenth Red Brick is called “Gold Brick Detector” as it’ll point you to all gold bricks in your general area. Helpful!
Location: You will find this red brick in “Level 9: Ready, A.I.M., Fire – Part C”.
In Free Play Mode, The Collector is towards the very end of the level, where the big golden ROXXON sign is. Directly above where The Collector is standing is an area that is protected by a camera. Sneak past the camera with Black Widow’s Stealth or better yet with Iron Man (Mark 16)’s Stealth so you can fly up there directly without having to switch characters for the next couple of steps. After going past the camera in Stealth mode, blow up the Silver Box with Iron Man’s rockets, and from the resulting Lego debris build / install a lever and pull it. The door to the right of the cage opens, go through it. Next, destroy the Gold Lego Bricks with Iron Man’s lasers and put out the fire with Captain America (or Laufey’s water powers). Now, on that spot, you can pick up an Iron Man Helmet for The Collector.

Red Brick 11: Minikit Detector
Minikit Detector Red Brick Location #11: In “Level 10: Lost in the Aether – Part C” near the end of the level when you see Malekith’s red & black spaceship in the background, walk forward until you can’t go any further away from the spaceship to find The Collector is. The Tea Cup is found in the trunk of the blue car to the right of him. Open it with Vision’s Telekinetic Powers
Description: This eleventh Red Brick is called “Minikit Piece Detector” as it’ll point you to all minikit pieces in your general area. A handy way to find all 10 in each level!
Location: You will find this red brick in “Level 10: Lost in the Aether – Part C”.
In Free Play Mode, near the end of the level when you see Malekith’s black spaceship (with red lights on it) in the center background, walk forward towards the screen until you can’t go any further (away from the spaceship); That is where The Collector is and he would like to have a Tea Cup for his afternoon tea. It is found in the trunk of the blue car to the right of him. You can open it with Korvac or Vision’s Telekinetic Powers.

Red Brick 12: Stan Lee In Peril Detector
Stan Lee In Peril Detector Red Brick Location #12: In “Level 11: No Strings On Me – Part B” The Collector is upstairs on the right at Tony Stark’s house party. Walk to his left to find the DJ mixing table & use Ultimate Ultron’s Black Lego destruction to blow up the DJ mixing table. Then take the Vinyl Record back to The Collector
Description: This twelfth Red Brick is called “Stan Lee In Peril Detector” because when you turn on this Red Brick all of the hidden Stan Lee character in each Story Level becomes easy to find for you with an on-screen arrow pointing to him!
Location: You will find this red brick in “Level 11: No Strings On Me – Part B”.
In Free Play Mode, The Collector is upstairs (to the right) at Tony Stark’s house party, apparently he wants to be a DJ. Walk to his left to find the DJ mixing table in the middle, still upstairs. Use Ultimate Ultron to blow up the DJ mixing table made from Black Lego Blocks and take the Vinyl Record back to The Collector.

Red Brick 13: Quest Detector
Quest Detector Red Brick Location #13: In “Level 12: Anger Management – Part A” The Collector is left-side at the start of the level & wants Vibranium. From where he’s standing, go to the right side across a metal bridge, there is a door shut with Silver Lego Bricks. Destroy the Silver Lego Bricks with Iron Man’s rockets. Pick up the item you get & bring it back to The Collector
Description: This thirteenth Red Brick is called “Quest Detector” as it’ll point you to all Quests in your general area of the open world HUBs. A handy way to find new quest missions!
Location: You will find this red brick in “Level 12: Anger Management – Part A”.
In Free Play Mode, The Collector is right at the start of the level (on the left side) and needs Vibranium. From where he’s standing, go to the right side across a metal bridge, there is a door shut with Silver Lego Bricks. (Just ignore Quicksilver attacking you.) Blow up the Silver Lego Bricks with Iron Man’s rockets to make the bright-blue sample item appear. Pick it up and bring it back to The Collector to get another Red Brick reward from him.

Red Brick 14: Fast Build
Fast Build Red Brick Location #14: In “Level 13: Korea Prospects – Part C” The Collector is at the start of this level’s Part C behind a green car. Go to the “BURGER” food stand directly to the right of The Collector and discover the item with Vision or Iron Man’s scanning. After that’s done the blue fish appears on top of the food cart. Fly up with Iron Man or bounce-jump up with Captain America, and it drops down to the ground. Next, use Squirrel Girl or Black Panther to dig it out of the ground and bring it to the nearby The Collector
Description: This fourteenth Red Brick is called “Fast Build” because it allows you to build objects out of Lego bricks super fast.
Location: You will find this red brick in “Level 13: Korea Prospects – Part C”.
In Free Play Mode, at the start of this level’s Part C, The Collector is behind a green car on the street and wants a Stinky Fish. Go to the “BURGER” food stand directly to the right of The Collector and discover the item with Vision or Iron Man (like the Mark 33 aka Silver Centurion)’s detective scanning. After that’s done the blue fish appears on top of the food cart. Fly up with Iron Man or bounce-jump up with Captain America, and it drops down to the ground. Next, use Squirrel Girl or Black Panther to dig it out of the ground and bring it to the nearby The Collector. – I think at this point The Collector is clearly pulling our leg to see what kind of weird or utterly normal things he can make us fetch for him!

Red Brick 15: Fast Dig
Fast Dig Red Brick Location #15: In “Level 14: Rise of Ultron – Part C” The Collector is right at the beginning of the level. Walk right next to him to the green truck’s back & switch to Vision or Iron Man (like the Mark 33 aka Silver Centurion) with detective scanning to make green handles appear & pull them off the truck with Hulk. Now you can reach the Lego pieces lying in the truck to put them together in a Lego speedster platform for Quicksilver to use. After that scene pick up the Sokovian Flag for The Collector
Description: This fifteenth Red Brick is called “Fast Dig” because it allows you to dig in the ground for Lego objects super fast.
Location: You will find this red brick in “Level 14: Rise of Ultron – Part C”.
In Free Play Mode, The Collector is right at the beginning of the level. After talking to him, walk right next to him to the green truck’s back and switch to Vision or Iron Man (like the Mark 33 aka Silver Centurion) for detective scanning to make green handles appear on the back of the truck. Pull the green handles from the truck, with a strong character like Hulk or Korvac, and throw away the back of the truck to be able to reach the new Lego pieces lying in the truck. Then use them to put together the Lego speedster platform for Speed or Quicksilver to use to propel himself onto the nearby flag pole and knock it down. Pick up the Sokovian Flag and deliver it to The Collector. “Hail Sokovia!”

Red Brick 16: Collect Ghost Studs
Collect Ghost Studs Red Brick Location #16: In “Level 15: Ultron Undone – Part C” The Collector is in the 2nd part of the boss fight, in the dig site area in the back after Hawkeye launches Quicksilver’s big attack. Use Squirrel Girl to dig through the tunnel to this new area where The Collector is standing next to a tomb. Put out the fire with Captain America, put the Lego pieces together into a pivot tool to open the tomb with it & Vision’s Telekinetic Powers. Put together the received skeleton parts & interact with it with Scarlet Witch’s Mind Control. Take the remaining Sokovian Skeleton Skull to The Collector nearby
Description: This sixteenth Red Brick is called “Collect Ghost Studs” because that’s what it enables you to do. Normally you cannot collect Ghost Studs, so this will help boost your Stud counter.
Location: You will find this red brick in “Level 15: Ultron Undone – Part C”.
In Free Play Mode, The Collector is in the second part of the boss fight, in the same dig site area you find the final Minikit of the game. You’re able to get to the dig site area in the back after Hawkeye launches Quicksilver’s big attack. Use Moon Boy or Squirrel Girl to dig through the tunnel and come out on top in a new area where The Collector is standing (away from the main boss fight). There, put out the fire with Laufey or Captain America, put the Lego pieces you get together into a pivot tool you can use with Korvac or Vision’s Telekinetic Powers to open the skeleton’s grey tomb. Assemble the newly found skeleton parts and interact with it using Korvac or Scarlet Witch’s Mind Control. Take the remaining Sokovian Skeleton Skull item back to The Collector next to it.

Target 2nd Player Red Brick Location #17: Automatically available to buy from the start of the game. Find it in the Red Brick Station at The Collector’s Room on the SHIELD Helicarrier
Description: This seventeenth Red Brick is called “Target 2nd Player” because it lets you target the second player character.
Location: Location: This red brick is already unlocked for you from the very start of the game, without having to find it. All you have to do is go to The Collector’s room on the SHIELD Helicarrier (directions are in the intro above) with enough money and buy it. There are actually three red bricks already unlocked from the beginning, which is why when you pause the game, it only show 15 red bricks to find out of the 18 in total.

In Free Play Mode. During the sequence when you have to rescue five citizens trapped by Chitauri, The Collector is on top of the house to the right, and you can easily fly up there. Уничтожьте все в гараже, чтобы получить монокль Штрукера. Возвращайтесь на главную площадь и взлетайте наверх справа, чтобы отдать его Коллекционеру.

Расположение: Часть 2, при первом запуске воспоминаний. Активируйте панель управления в середине комнаты и контролируйте разум парня, чтобы он потянул переключатель. Используйте силу Альтрона на появившемся ящике и отдайте предмет коллекционеру, который будет рядом с вами.

Используйте телепатические силы на ломе, постройте скелет и продолжайте атаковать его, пока он не упадет. Отдайте череп Коллекционеру, который находится рядом с вами.
