Describe the problem
When you start a program by double-clicking it in Windows Explorer, the program would launch, but it’s unable to load resource files due to trying to access it from original location.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Create the following folder structure:

C:TestDownload
C:TestForced

1. Create a new Sandbox, add C:TestForced to Forced Folders.
2. Download SAMPLE_GAME.zip from another issue Custom Font (not installed on the system) fail to load with «SBIE2205 Service not implemented» #1445 I created. You can use any program that loads external resource files.
3. Extract SAMPLE_GAME.zip to a folder, now you have C:TestDownloadSAMPLE_GAME.
4. Move the SAMPLE_GAME folder to C:TestForced.
5. Open C:TestForcedSAMPLE_GAME in Windows Explorer and double-click on Game.exe.
6. The program runs but fail to load resource files with error message: Cannot locate basic info data C:Test/Download/SAMPLE_GAME/Data/BasicData/Game.dat, note that it tries to load the file from Download instead of Forced.
7. Terminate Programs, try to start the game using Run Sandboxed - Run Any Program dialog, or right-click on Game.exe in Windows Explorer and select Run Sandboxed command, the program runs and loads the files without error.
8. You can try to repeat step 6, and it still won’t work.

Workaround
This is a workaround I discovered by accident, just right-click on Game.exe and select Properties, from now on it will run just fine.

Also, this is an old bug presents in original Sandboxie.

Are you trolling non-Japan regions with this release? You’ve made it available but it doesn’t load unless you’re in Japan but you’ve also said you are not going to make an English version anyway, so can you disable it outside of Japan? Waste of time taking it off my wishlist lol

It seems to be a common error that games made by WOLF RPG engine have. Someone said it could be solved by using Locale Emulator to emulate Japan region, but I tried and it failed on this game:lunar2019crylaughingpig:

When I try to run the game, I get to the point where I choose whether to play 1, 2, or 3.
(No matter which of them I choose.) The game simply closes with an error message.

I verified my game files through steam, which found no problems. Yet the same error message persists.
Then I proceeded to reinstall the game, which changed nothing.
So.. tips anyone?

Can you check your antivirus program to make sure it isn’t deleting any of the files in LiEat?
I recommend adding it to the exceptions list.

Then can you uninstall the game completely before trying to install it again.

If there is still an error appearing, could you please post your PC Specs and a Crash report [www.cyberlink.com] please.

My antivirus has not quarantined any files, and has not given me any notifications when downloading the game or trying to launch it. It has never given me any issues with Steam games before.
I followed your link and have tried to provide you with a crash report, but it seems that no such thing gets created. (Yes, I have enabled analytic and debug logs, and checked that they are being viewed when I search for them. I did find reports of other game crashes.)
Frankly, I’ve already spent more time on this than I probably would have spent playing the game.
I wanna thank you for a quick response and your efforts, but I just can’t be bothered with this anymore.
I’ll go for a refund and wish you devs good luck with future endeavors.
Also, since a bit less laziness on my part would most likely have rendered the game playable, I’ll skip the negative review.
PC specs: Windows 7 pro, SP1, intel i5-5200U, 2,20ghz, 8gb ram, 64-bit.
